This may very well be the best pizza in Columbus. The hype is real, and I can see why this place has been around for so many years.
Haven't been to this restaurant in 40-years, but wow...it's still very good. Service was excellent and friendly. Food quality was delicious and hot. Plus the final tab (bill) was a surprise..it was Very Affordable. I won't be waiting long to return.
Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere and fantastic staff. If you like Italian food, you will love it when you leave here. The food is fabulous. We had a waitress by the name of Jamie. She was outstanding. Very friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Her service was outstanding. We love this place.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and delicious food. Our waitress was newer but really kind and attentive. Definitely a nice family feel on a Friday night. Wish I could get a large large bowl of the wedding soup too!
Oh how delicious the food was here. Service was quick, attentive without being overbearing,. Wife had a salad and fettuccine Alfredo. I had Italian wedding soup, salad, and gnocchi with red sauce, meatball, and a side of tiny Italian sausage. Wife got a dessert to go because she was so full to eat it now.
If you want that "large family dinner" kind of feeling - come to TAT! The entire staff is so friendly and the food is absolutely delish! The carbs are my fave here - the complimentary homemade bread and the thick, homemade noodles are seriously to die for! The Italian dressing that is served on the house salad is so good too! I'm assuming it's homemade as well. A bonus to dining here is that you receive complimentary cake or ice cream with your dinner! Trust me, you will love it here! The only time I did not enjoy my meal was when I decided to steer away from what I know and love (the homemade spaghetti) and decided to try the Big Pete. I did not like the taste of the homemade Italian sausage at all. That's the only no for me here. While I did not enjoy the Big Pete that day, I still enjoyed everything else that had been served prior to my meal and the service. One of the super busy managers stopped to say hi to my daughter and gave her a bag of gummy bears to take home. It's the small things that make me truly appreciate small, family-owned restaurants. (Small disclaimer: Be prepared to wait a while for food - they stay pretty busy)!
We've been coming here for many years. I'm happy the new generation (the 4th), is continuing the tradition. So many food choices on the extensive menu. Great service by a great grand daughter of the founders. We had spaghetti and a big salad. Both were great. I think the booths need some repair work and overall they could use a decoration redo, but in the end the place is true to their founders. Good neighborhood Italian food for the past 100 years.
